Google Sheets connector

Updated October 14, 2026

Append rows to a Google Sheet from your site — the simplest way to log form submissions, with no OAuth.

Append rows to a Google Sheet from your site. It's the simplest cloud setup here — no OAuth, no service account, just one script URL.

Setup

In Settings → Connectors → Google Sheets:

Field What to enter
Apps Script URL (secret) A Google Apps Script Web App /exec URL (see below).

To get the URL: open your Sheet → Extensions → Apps Script → add a doPost(e) that parses the JSON and appends a row → Deploy → New deployment → Web app (Execute as: Me, Access: Anyone) → copy the /exec URL. Keep editing the same deployment so the URL stays stable.

Example prompts

Just describe it in the chat — no special syntax needed:

  • "Log every contact-form submission as a new row in my Google Sheet."
  • "When the form is submitted, append the name, email, and message to my tracking sheet."
  • "Add each newsletter signup to my Google Sheet."
  • "Record orders in my spreadsheet."

What gets wired

window.estageConnector('google_sheets', 'append_row', {
  name, email, phone, message,
});

Your doPost decides the column order — match the fields you send to your sheet's columns.

Use cases

  • A leads spreadsheet that fills from your forms in real time.
  • Order / RSVP tracking your team can sort and filter in Sheets.
  • A no-database submissions log for a simple site.

Republish your site after configuring.
