Discord connector
Post messages from your site to a Discord channel through a webhook — new leads, form submissions, orders and community sign-ups.
Post messages from your site to a Discord channel through a channel webhook — new leads, form submissions, orders and community sign-ups.
Setup
In Settings → Connectors → Discord:
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Webhook URL (secret) | A Discord channel webhook URL (starts https://discord.com/api/webhooks/). |
To get the URL:
- In Discord, open Server Settings → Integrations → Webhooks.
- Select New Webhook and pick the channel it posts to.
- Set the name and avatar the messages should show — the connector uses what you set here.
- Select Copy Webhook URL and paste it into the field.
If your URL starts with discordapp.com, replace that part with discord.com before saving.
The URL itself is the credential — anyone holding it can post to that channel. It is encrypted on the server and never appears in your site.
Example prompts
Describe the trigger in chat — no special syntax needed:
- "post new form submissions to my community channel"
- "send a Discord message when someone signs up, with their name"
- "announce every completed order in my Discord"
Formatting the message
Messages use Discord markdown: **bold**, *italic*, `code` and > quote. Discord accepts
up to 2,000 characters per message, so long free-text answers are shortened.
Use cases
- Community sign-up pings in a welcome channel.
- Lead and order alerts for your team.
- A message on any action, such as a button click.
Things worth knowing
- The channel is fixed by the webhook. To post somewhere else, create a webhook in that channel and save the new URL.
- Forms can notify Discord without chat. In a form's settings, Also notify in sends each new submission to Discord once the connector is connected. See Forms.
- Republish your site after configuring so the live site picks up the connector.
