Turn text into natural-sounding speech with ElevenLabs — add a "listen" button to articles, narrate content, or make your site more accessible.
Setup
In Settings → Connectors → ElevenLabs:
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| API key (secret) | From ElevenLabs → Profile → API Keys (starts sk_…). |
| Voice ID (optional) | A default voice (e.g. 21m00Tcm4TlvDq8ikWAM). You can also let Genesis pick one in chat. |
Your key is encrypted server-side; audio is generated through the relay and returned to the page.
Example prompts
Just describe it — no special syntax needed:
- "add a 'Listen to this article' button that reads the post aloud"
- "narrate the page summary in a friendly voice"
- "read the testimonial text aloud when it's clicked"
