Besides courses, a community has three libraries members can browse: **Resources** (links and
downloads), **Videos** (a catalogue of video posts) and **Opportunities** (partner or affiliate
offers). Use them for the material that doesn't need a course around it: templates, recordings,
partner deals. Each has its own page in your community.

All three let you sort items into categories (**Categories** button) and show them in chosen
[channels](https://support.estage.com/community-channels) (**Available in channels**).

## Before you start

- **Be an admin, or hold the right permission.** Resources and opportunities use the **Resources &
opportunities** permissions in [roles](https://support.estage.com/community-roles); videos use **Videos**. Each has
  **Create**, **Edit** and **Delete**.
- **Put the pages in your menu** so members can find them — **Navigation → Quick add**, see
  [Look, navigation & about page](https://support.estage.com/community-appearance#navigation).

## Resources

On **Resources**, click **Add Resource**:

| Field | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| **Resource Name**, **Description**, cover | What members see on the card |
| **Select Category** | Where it's filed; **+ New Category** adds one |
| Link | A **Text Link** or a **Global Variable**, with **Button Text** and **Open in new tab** |
| **Advanced view** | Clicking the button opens a fuller page about the resource instead of going straight to the link |
| **Published**, **Active** | Show it, and let members open it |

Click **Create**. Each card's menu has **Edit Resource** and **Delete Resource**.

## Videos

The **Videos** page is a catalogue of your community's videos. Sort it by **No Sorting** (your own
order — drag to rearrange), **Most Recents** or **Most Views**.

### Adding a video

Click **Add Video** and pick a source:

- **Add Video From Feed (single video posts only)** — start typing a post's title to pick an
  existing video post.
- **Add Video From URL**.
- **Add Video From Video Library** — a video from your ESTAGE video library.

Then fill in **Video Title**, **Description**, **Categories** (required), **Available in
Channels**, and an **Access Rule** (a custom rule from **Rules**, or none). For a video from your
video library you can also turn on **Members can save to their library**. Click **Add Video**.

> **Note**
>
> A video needs a category, and the list only offers categories of the channel you're adding to. If
> there's none that fits — or you see *"Category is required"* — click **+ Add Category** right in the
> form.

### Managing videos

A video card's menu has **Pin Video** / **Unpin Video**, **Edit Video** and **Delete Video**.

> **Caution**
>
> **Delete Video** in the card's menu removes the video from Videos *and* deletes the feed post it
> came from. To take it off the Videos page but keep the post, open **Edit Video** and select
> **Delete** there instead — the post stays in the feed.

### Saving a video to your own library

When **Members can save to their library** is on for a video, members see **Save to my library** in
the video's menu. They pick a folder in their own ESTAGE video library and the video is copied
there.

### Uploading to the video library

Uploads go into the community owner's ESTAGE video library. Another admin can upload too once the
owner invites them: the owner picks **Invite to video workspace** on their member card (see
[Members & join requests](https://support.estage.com/community-members#giving-someone-a-role)), and the admin accepts the
invite. More about the library: [Video on ESTAGE](https://knowledge.estage.com/video/video-on-estage/).

## Opportunities

**Opportunities** lists offers from partners — affiliate programs, done-for-you funnels — laid out
like courses. Click **New Opportunity** and fill in **Company**, **Industry**, **Commissions**,
**Commission Type** (**Single**, **Recurring** or **Single + Recurring**), **DFY Funnel** (**Yes** /
**No**), **Description**, category, channels, cover, **Published** and **Active**.

Inside an opportunity you add modules and lessons as in a course — see
[Courses](https://support.estage.com/community-courses#building-the-course). The card menu has **Edit Opportunity** and
**Delete Opportunity**.

## Things worth knowing

- Every opportunity is open to all members; there's no tag gating for them.
- Delete actions ask for confirmation and can't be undone.
