Three extras that sit around the community itself: **Member Blaze** turns members into recruiters,
the **Affiliate Center** gives your affiliates a home inside the community, and **Mobile App Setup**
puts the community on phones.

## Member Blaze

**Member Blaze** is a referral program for your community. Every member gets a referral link;
reaching a number of referrals earns them a reward, or an entry into a prize draw.

It's an add-on, under **Settings → Add-ons → Member Blaze**.

> **Note**
>
> The tab appears only when the community owner's ESTAGE account holds a Member Blaze licence. A
> one-hub licence works in one community; an unlimited licence works in all of them.

### The dashboard

**Member Blaze - Dashboard** shows:

- new members over the last 7, 14 or 30 days, or a **Custom Range**, and cards for today, this
  week and the last 30 days;
- **Top Referrers** — who brought in how many, their milestone and latest activity;
- your draws — title, prize, draw date and winner;
- your **Milestones**.

### Creating a milestone or giveaway

1. Click **Add New Milestone**.
2. Choose the **Type**:
   - **Milestone** — a reward for reaching a number of referrals. Set **Number Referrals Needed**
     and, under **Add Tags To User Profile**, the CRM tags the member receives — use them to unlock
     the reward.
   - **Giveaway** — a prize draw. Set **Referrals Needed Per Entry** and the **Qualifying Date**
     range.
3. Add a **Title / Headline**, **Description**, an image and your own promotional message.
4. Click **Create**.

The pencil edits a milestone, and the bin deletes it.

### Running a draw

When a giveaway is due, click the play button (**Run draw**) next to it in the list. The draw
window lists the participants — **Username**, **Referrals** and **Entries**, with **Search Users**
and the total.

- **Referrals** counts the people who joined through the member's referral link within the
  qualifying dates.
- **Entries** is their referrals divided by **Referrals Needed Per Entry**, rounded down. A member
  with fewer referrals than one entry needs isn't in the draw.

Click **Spin Now** to pick the winner at random — every entry is one ticket, so more entries mean a
better chance. The winner shows in the draws list.

> **Caution**
>
> **Spin Again** draws again and replaces the winner you had. Announce a winner only once you're done
> spinning.

### What members see

Members see **Invite People**, **Your Referral Link**, **Milestones & Rewards** and **Active
Giveaways** — turn on the **Member Blaze** sidebar widget so they find it. The widget is added to
the feed only on the Business Plus plan. Members who joined through a referral link also show in
[Analytics → Growth](https://support.estage.com/community-analytics#growth).

## Affiliate Center

If you run an affiliate program in your [CRM](https://knowledge.estage.com/commerce/affiliates/), your affiliates can work from inside
the community. Add **Affiliate** to the menu from **Navigation → Quick add**.

Members who belong to a program get the **Affiliate Center** with **Dashboard**, **Offers**,
**Earnings**, **Payouts** and **Referrals**. Members without a program are sent to the program's
landing page instead. Admins can always open it.

Programs, offers, commissions and payouts are all managed in the CRM — see
[Affiliates](https://knowledge.estage.com/commerce/affiliates/).

### What an affiliate sees

**The agreement comes first.** If the program has an agreement the affiliate hasn't accepted yet,
it opens over the Affiliate Center and can't be dismissed. They read it, tick **I have read and
agree to the Agreement** and select **I agree to these terms**. Afterwards the **Dashboard** says
*"You've signed the Partner Agreement"* — select **Partner Agreement** to read it again.

| Tab | What the affiliate does there |
| --- | --- |
| **Dashboard** | Their program (*"Your status is"*), visitors, unique visitors, referrals, sales, commissions and refunds over a date range, the **Last 5 Referrals** and **Latest Activity** |
| **Offers** | The offers they can promote. **Open** goes into an offer; an offer for a higher program shows **Upgrade to …** and leads to that program's page; a switched-off offer shows **Closed** |
| **Earnings** | Each commission — date, name, product, commission and activity — with totals for a date range |
| **Payouts** | Where they're paid, and what has been paid |
| **Referrals** | The people they referred — date, name, email and products |

Inside an offer, the affiliate finds:

- **Your Commissions** — what the offer pays them, or **Non-Commissionable**;
- the offer's referral links, each with a copy and an open button;
- **Reporting** — the same numbers as the dashboard, for this offer;
- **Creatives** — **Banners** (pick a size, then **Download Banner**), **Videos** (**Download
  Video**), **Email Creatives** (a **Subject Line** and **Email Body** to copy) and **Social
  Creatives** (copy for social posts), each grouped by the categories you set up.

### Getting paid

Each community pays its affiliates from its own Stripe or PayPal, so an affiliate sets up payouts
separately in every community they promote. On the **Payouts** tab, under **Payout account**:

1. If the community offers both, the affiliate answers **How do you want to get paid?** —
   **Stripe** (*"To your bank account, via Stripe"*) or **PayPal** (*"To your PayPal email"*). The
   community's default is marked **Default**.
2. **Stripe**: they pick the country of their payout account — it sets the account's country and
   currency and can't be changed later without disconnecting — and complete Stripe's verification.
   The card then shows **Stripe account connected**.
3. **PayPal**: they enter their **PayPal email** and select **Save**. The card shows **PayPal
   connected**. A payout to an email with no PayPal account isn't delivered; it's returned after
   30 days.

**Change method** switches between Stripe and PayPal, and **Disconnect** removes the payout
account — commissions can't be paid out until a new one is set up; the earnings history stays.
Below the card, **Pending** (commissions still maturing), **Available** (ready to pay out) and
**Paid** sum up the money — plus **Debt** when there are outstanding chargebacks, which are
deducted from payouts — followed by **Payouts over time** and the list of payouts.

If the community hasn't connected Stripe or PayPal for affiliate payouts, affiliates have nothing
to set up here, and admins see **Set up affiliate payouts** with a link to the payment settings.

## Mobile App Setup

**Settings → Add-ons → Mobile App Setup** opens ESTAGE's app deployer in a new tab, where you set
up the community's iOS and Android app. Members who install it use the same account and see the same
community, with push notifications.

## Things worth knowing

- The Member Blaze dashboard is visible to people with the **View analytics** permission; running a
  draw needs **Award points & badges by hand**, and editing milestones **Edit levels, badges &
  reward rules**. See [Community roles & permissions](https://support.estage.com/community-roles).
- Mobile App Setup is available to administrators only.
