**ESTAGE Direct** lets buyers pay you in crypto straight into your own wallet — mostly in **USDC**
or **USDT**, stablecoins worth one US dollar each. ESTAGE never holds your keys or your money and
never sits between the buyer and you.

It works on [order forms](https://support.estage.com/order-forms), next to your card gateways — for one-time products, and
on Base for monthly or annual subscriptions too.

## Who can use it

ESTAGE Direct comes with a licence. It is on your account as soon as you buy one:

| Licence | Where it works |
| --- | --- |
| **ESTAGE Direct — Single Hub** | One project — the first one you connect a wallet on. |
| **ESTAGE Direct — Unlimited Hubs** | Every project you own. |

Every project shows **ESTAGE Direct** in **Settings → Payment Processing**. Without a licence the
row has no **Connect** button, and says why instead:

| The row says | What it means |
| --- | --- |
| **Licence required** | This account has no ESTAGE Direct licence. |
| **Licence ended** | The licence was refunded or has expired. |
| **Connected on another project** | Your Single Hub licence is connected on another of your projects. |
| **Switched off** | ESTAGE support switched Direct off on this project or account. Contact ESTAGE support. |

## Networks

| Network | Buyers pay in | Sells | Connecting | Buyer's network fee |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| **Solana** | USDC, USDT, USDP, USDG, SOL | One-time payments | One click — any Solana wallet in your browser | Under a cent, in SOL |
| **Ethereum** | USDC, USDT, USDP, USDG | One-time payments | Any Ethereum wallet — Ledger and Trezor through MetaMask or Rabby | Usually under a dollar, more when the network is busy, in ETH |
| **Base** | USDC | One-time payments and monthly or annual subscriptions | Any wallet that holds Base — Ledger and Trezor through MetaMask or Rabby | A few cents, in ETH on Base |
| **Tron** | USDT | One-time payments | TronLink in your browser, or enter your Tron address | Often about a dollar, in TRX |

USDP and USDG are dollar stablecoins issued by Paxos, worth one US dollar each like USDC. SOL is
priced at the moment the payment request is made.

You can connect several networks. Buyers then pay on the network they have money on.

## Connect a payout wallet

The payout wallet is the wallet buyers pay into. Connecting it only shares its **address** and asks
you to sign a short message — it is free and moves no money.

1. Open **Settings → Payment Processing** and click **Connect** on **ESTAGE Direct**. (In the ESTAGE
CRM the same row is in **Settings → Payments**.)
2. Pick the network: **Solana**, **Ethereum**, **Base** or **Tron**.
3. Click **Connect a wallet** and pick your wallet. On Tron that is **TronLink** (OKX Wallet and
Bitget Wallet work too). For a hardware wallet, or one on another device, choose **Other wallet**
   and enter its address.
4. Confirm with your **ESTAGE password** (and your two-factor code, if you use one). You can add a
   label to tell wallets apart.
5. Approve the signature in your wallet.

On **Base** and **Ethereum**, use a regular wallet with its own key — MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase
Wallet, or a Ledger or Trezor through them. A smart wallet (Coinbase Smart Wallet with a passkey,
Safe) cannot sign the ownership message.

If you entered the address by hand, the last step shows the message to sign and a box for the
signature. To sign a **Base** or **Ethereum** wallet on another device:

1. Open [etherscan.io/verifiedSignatures](https://etherscan.io/verifiedSignatures) and click
   **Sign Message**.
2. Connect the wallet that owns the address — a phone wallet works too. The same address is used on
   Base and Ethereum.
3. Paste the message exactly as it is, sign it, and paste the signature (it starts with `0x`) into
   the box.

The message is valid for **15 minutes**. If it expires, remove the wallet and connect it again.

The window closes and the wallet is listed as active. On a **Single Hub** licence, connecting is
what puts the licence on this project.

> **Caution**
>
> ESTAGE never asks for your **recovery phrase** or **private key** — not here, not by email, not in
> support. If anything does, it is not us.

Each network has one payout wallet. To add another network, click **Connect another wallet** — only
the networks without a wallet are offered. To change the wallet on a network, click **Replace** next
to it and connect the new one; it takes over once you sign, and the old one moves to the history.
Every change to a payout wallet
sends you an email; if you did not make it, click **This wasn't me** in that email. Your wallets are
frozen at once and checkout falls back to cards. Only ESTAGE support can unfreeze a wallet, and only
with a new signature from it.

## Sell a product for crypto

1. In the **ESTAGE CRM**, open the product. Under its payment options, choose:
   - **Cards or stablecoin** — buyers choose a card or crypto;
   - **Stablecoin only** — no card gateway is needed.

   ESTAGE Direct takes:
   - a **one-time** price in **any currency**. A price that is not in US dollars is charged at its
dollar value at the moment the buyer pays; your order is still recorded in the product's own
     currency;
   - a **monthly or annual** price in **US dollars**. It is sold as a **USDC subscription on Base**:
the buyer approves it once in their wallet, and each month or year is collected from it
straight to yours. They can cancel any time.
2. Optionally turn on **Final sale**: before paying in crypto, buyers tick *"This is a final sale"*
and *"No refunds"*, and their agreement is recorded with the time and IP.
3. In your [order form](https://support.estage.com/order-forms-configuring), turn on **ESTAGE Direct** in the payment methods.
It is offered on product forms.

## What your buyers see

Next to the card form, buyers can pay in crypto:

1. They pick the coin and network they have money on. For a price that is not in US dollars, they
see what it comes to in dollars before they continue (for example *£10.00 is about $13.42*).
2. They pay from their own wallet, by scanning the QR code, or by sending the amount by hand where
the network allows it. A payment request is valid for **15 minutes**.
3. The order is created as soon as the network confirms the payment — usually within a minute on
Solana and Tron, up to a few minutes on Base and Ethereum (larger payments wait for more
   confirmations).

On **Tron**, buyers send **exactly** the amount shown, last digits included — those digits are how
the payment is matched to the order.

The buyer pays the network fee. You receive the full price.

For a subscription, the buyer approves it once in their wallet; later payments are collected from that
wallet automatically each month or year, until they cancel.

## How it differs from cards

- **Payments cannot be reversed.** There are no chargebacks. If you give a refund, you send it from
  your own wallet.
- **The money is yours at once** — no payout schedule, no processor holding it.
- **If ESTAGE Direct is unavailable** (no licence, a frozen wallet), checkout simply offers cards.

## Troubleshooting

| You see | Do this |
| --- | --- |
| No **Connect** button, **Licence required** | Buy an ESTAGE Direct licence, then reload the page. |
| **Connected on another project** | Your Single Hub licence is connected on another of your projects — take payments there, or use an Unlimited Hubs licence for every project. |
| The row says **Not active** (or **INACTIVE**) next to a wallet | The wallet is connected but cannot take payments — the notice beside it says why (for example, the licence ended). |
| "…already has a request waiting" | Open your wallet from the browser toolbar, unlock it, and approve or reject the waiting request. Then try again. |
| Your wallet is not listed | Choose **Other wallet** and enter the address. If you just installed the wallet, refresh the page. |
| "That signature comes from a smart wallet…" | Smart wallets (Coinbase Smart Wallet, Safe) cannot prove ownership here. Connect a regular wallet with its own key instead. |
| "The signature was not accepted" | Sign with the wallet that owns the address you entered, and copy the message exactly as shown — no added spaces or line breaks. |
| A buyer sees "The exchange rate for this price is unavailable right now" | The rate for the product's currency could not be fetched. The buyer can pay by card or try again a few minutes later. |
| A buyer's monthly or annual product offers no crypto | Crypto subscriptions take a US dollar price. Set the product's price in USD to offer one. |
